Choose the perfect plan
Your Options
- Affordable Care Plans – Depending on the county you live will determine the companies that offer plans. ACA plans are guaranteed issue, guarantee re-issue, pre existing conditions are accepted, no health questions. The primary restriction for these plans is when you can sign-up, most sign-up during the fall open enrollment, special enrollment opportunities do exist. These plans can be on the expensive side but depending on your income you may qualify for assistance.
- Short Term plans – These plans are not guarantee issue, not guarantee re-issue. They do not cover pre-existing conditions, reproductive services, mental health, or substance abuse. If you do not need those services they work just like ACA plans, but the cost is about half of an ACA plan. Health insurance for healthy people does not cost that much.
- Religious plans – These plans are progressive coverage, they cover more the longer you have them, with full coverage on the 25th month. Pre-existing conditions being the primary accepted coverage at 25th month, other than that they work pretty much like a ACA plan. Good coverage at about 3/4 the cost of ACA plans.
- Small business Groups – If you have a business that pays 2 people on a W-2 this is an option for you. IF your company meets that minimum requirement or you can meet that requirement move over to the SMALL BUSINESS GROUP menu for additional information.
